HobaCare Jojoba Squalene – 1 oz

This perfect pairing of jojoba and olive squalene helps hydrate and protect the skin. Jojoba is nourishing and protective to the skin while squalene adds to the skin’s supply of lipids to help repair the moisture barrier, ensuring long-lasting effects and safeguards from outside stressors. 

Squalene is one of the body’s natural lipids and is found in human sebum. Its role is to protect the skin from outside stressors and help moisturize the skin. Squalene is the naturally occurring form, which makes it more prone to oxidation. Most skincare formulations use squalane (note the ‘a’ instead of the ‘e’ after the ‘l’), which is the hydrogenated form of squalene. The process of hydrogenation makes it shelf-stable. Our HobaCare Squalene uses the natural form of squalene because the virtually indefinite shelf life of jojoba helps stabilize the squalene, which allows us to use the natural form of squalene instead of hydrogenated squalane.  Jojoba Squalene also available in 8 oz and 32 oz sizes.

How to use HobaCare Jojoba Squalene:
FOR SKIN: use a small amount from head to toe after showering, as a hand cream, and for nighttime foot care. Non-comedogenic and can be used on the face.
FOR MASSAGE: use a scoop to remove a small amount into a separate bowl.
FOR HAIR: warm a very small amount by rubbing between palms, and gently smooth over dry hair starting at ends.
FOR ESSENTIAL OILS: melt the desired amount in a double boiler, add essential oils to the recommended %, and stir while cooling to maintain emulsification.

Ingredients: First-Press, Unrefined Golden HobaCare Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis), Olive Squalene (Olea Europaea) External use only – use within 6 months.

HobaCare Jojoba Squalene is scent-free, which makes it the ideal carrier for adding your own scents or essential oils. Add peppermint for a refreshing foot cream: add arnica to create a pain-relieving muscle cream, add menthol, spearmint, eucalyptus, or essential oils to make a cooling muscle rub or a soothing chest cream to help ease congestion, add lavender, chamomile, and vetiver to create a relaxing nighttime hand cream to help soothe you to sleep.

I used this on my legs, arms, hands once daily and it HELPED!
*Legs and arms – improved moisture and repaired tissue on my 76 year old body.
*Back of hands – while applying rash and dryness resolved. Returned when not using.
*As a massage therapist I am washing and sanitizing my hands all day but using this product is helping my hands.
